Mountainous Distraction
Distant clouds lurk over the peak,
Intent to glow and
Signify inner force to
Transgress granite.
Recumbent snow
And boulders cool,
Crevices collect mist
To trail as vapor
Ice slips vertical
On craggy
Nodules.
