Morning Ray
A Poem of Hope, Light, and New Beginnings

Morning Ray
By Atif Jamal
When darkness melts and stars retreat,
A silent promise walks on golden feet.
The sky is painted in hues so wide,
As Morning Ray begins her stride.
She tiptoes through the sleeping trees,
Whispers soft in the morning breeze.
She wakes the birds, the flowers bloom,
She clears the heart of silent gloom.
A spark of hope, a breath so new,
A light that bathes the world in dew.
She kisses rooftops, warms the clay,
She brings the soul a brand-new day.
No trumpet sounds, no loud display,
Just calm and grace in her own way.
She says: “Begin. Forget the past.”
Each dawn reminds, the pain won’t last.
So if your night has been too long,
If you've forgotten how to be strong,
Just lift your face to skies so grey—
And wait to feel the Morning Ray.
