Why Did Our Parents Give Birth to Us?

Yesterday, I was watching a story in which a writer claimed that our parents did us no favor by raising us — it was simply their responsibility to do so.

Today, I want to explain my own thoughts on this matter.

---

My Thoughts:

I deeply respect my parents and always take care of them. I’m married now, but my wife takes care of my parents even more than I do.

---

Why Do I Do This?

I do this because those people gave me life. They endured hardships, went hungry themselves but fed me, sent me to school, and shaped me into a successful person.

They taught me how to speak to elders, how to treat younger ones, how to interact with parents, and how to behave with a wife.

They taught me all the lessons of life so that I could become a good member of society.

Yes, I know all of this was their responsibility. But they did it with the hope that I would be their support in old age.

If they are now old and I leave them alone — then who will they have?

When I was a child, they took care of me. Now that I am grown up and they are like children again, it is my responsibility to take care of them.

---

Summary of My Thoughts:

Every child should respect their parents and support them, so that they can enjoy the final stage of their life in peace — free of stress and loneliness.

Today, in this world, there are many such people — where two parents raise five children, but those five children together cannot care for just two parents.

If you liked my thoughts, please do share them with your friends.

Thank you!
