More Joys Of Christmas
A wonderful time of year
Keeping Christmas in your heart.
On that day and after too;
Unexpected call you receive.
Surely will take away your blues.
Teaching kids how to wrap their gifts;
Some earn money for gifts they buy,
Sometimes our gifts are hard to wrap
And put insde Christmas trees.
There's people hard to buy gifts for.
We hope they like the things we buy.
For children the gifts they receive.
Are special toys, books, puzzles, games.
We wll read the Christmas story
From the books of Matthew and Luke.
There's those we consider angels.
Whose hearts are filled with charity.
These people radiate smles
In everything they choose to do.
I know these people truly know
Our Savior died for me and you.

Thoughts on Vocal and the way the world is
"Death cannot stop true love, only delay it." – Wesley in The Princess Bride. I decided to come back to Vocal on a very cold and dark night at the end of December. I had been, and still am, convalescing from a horrible staph infection that had gone misdiagnosed for months. This, paired with the increasing challenges of being healthy, making the best choices for my co-parented child, being a wife, and being a director at a new job, was a lot to manage.
