Moonlit Memories II

The moon, when at its fullest, serves as a reminder, of every moment to make all his memories comes back.

The moon is full again

The night stops and begins to shine

Memories of her flow freely through his mind

Free to leave at any time

But continue to stay-

Living rent free

Bittersweet-

Like a record playing on repeat

Memories that let him travel through time

And a wish to move the stars at night

To make them all align

Memories reflecting in the moonlight

Leaving him in a bliss-like place of mind

Her voice still sings to him

There's a sensation it brings him

Silencing everything around him

Bringing life to the dead of night

Greater in number than the stars above

Are memories beneath a full moon

About the Creator

Josh Morgan

Personally, writing began as a creative outlet, to be a means of processing and venting emotion, but it has become so much more. Something I want not to be just relatable, enjoyable and a good read, but to reach someone who is in need.
