Moods

Poetry by me

It was in a moment that I realized,

My mood switched for you.

I could be in another world, fighting a war.

When you arrived, it was solitude, serenity...

All I could think was... it couldn’t be.

Hard as stone,

Abrasive as Rocky Mountain edges,

Sharp as a knifes blade,

Here I am standing on this ledge it’s...

It’s foreign to feel this peace.

It’s panic stricken calm,

Yet here I am in your arms!

Yet here I am in your arms...

Warmth filled with peace.

A strong, yet soft masculinity

That doesn’t forget me.

Label this?

I couldn’t call it love because the chemistry’s weight has complex depth.

I couldn’t call it like, for the word would buckle under this feeling.

I sway, and swoon while I close my eyes. . .

I can see you.

Do not detest a frequency so strong,

So sweet, so pleasant to the tip of the tongue.

Surround me in a bliss unforgotten.

We can keep this vibe, King, as they say...

Poppin!!!

It was in the moment I realized...

My mood switched... for you.
