LMonster Mash Dance

Under the moon so cold and bright,

the graveyard wakes on Halloween night.

From tombs and shadows they all dash,

to twist and turn, the Monster Mash.

The werewolf howls, his tail in spin,

the mummy laughs with rattling grin.

A ghost floats low in smoky flash,

while skeletons clatter to the Mash.

The vampire swirls with devilish grace,

green slime drips from his pale white face.

The witch stirs potions in her sash,

then joins the floor for one more Mash.

Zombies sway with jerky charm,

Frankenstein flings up his arm.

They move in rhythm, crash by crash,

the graveyard rocks with Monster Mash.

Till morning light begins to creep,

they dance and howl, no thought for sleep.

When dawn arrives, they fade in ash,

but each year waits the Monster Mash.

I wonder if there was a mosh pit at this Monster Mash. What a funny story poem. Good job.
