Monoceros

A Word I Heard Today

Introduction

I heard a word today and thought I would record it in this way.

Monoceros is Latin for Unicorn

I thought I would check out a few Unicorns from around the world.

The music is from the film "The Last Unicorn", a favourite of my daughters, Juliet and Kirsty, and half the animators who worked on this, then founded Studio Ghibli.

I love that word monoceros! Great poem to go with it.

Nice poem. I thought the lion and the unicorn were on the coat of arms for England or the entire UK...didn't realize the unicorn represented Scotland. I read The Last Unicorn and saw the movie years ago..loved it!

  • Oh wow, I had never heard that word before. So cool. And that was a wonderful poem!

  • One of a kind, or should I say, one of a horn.

What an interesting word for the day, Mike, and a neat way to present it <3

Now I've heard it, too! Great poetry, as always, and interesting music.
