Mommy’s heart

How it saves me everyday

By Isabelle LakePublished 5 years ago 1 min read

My mom? 🧚🏿‍♀️

She is godlike. A goddess within the body of a human with unnatural abilities to transform hardship into anything beautiful.

I’ve seen her laugh and cry. Struggle and succeed and all her moments had one thing in commun.. Faith and the love of God.

She is my reminder. My memo. My alarm. Whenever she prays or bestow words upon the universe, it always seems to flourish.

She taught me that.

Speak life and faith upon all things. ❤️

She taught me to respect what cannot be seem so i can move covered in the world.

She taught me to always trust my heart and my faith saying that those two are the moat important essence we have today.

She also taught me love for myself and love for God.

And that every tear i might shed would lead to watering a beautiful seed that would grow into a fruitful tree. 🌳

I know what love is because of her. I’ve seen her love and loose and love and win but her heart never changed.

She stayed consistent. Just like God.

No matter what happened, her heart never changed and never got dark.

She taught me that.

To lose and fall and still know and feel love.

That love isn’t just one thing. It is in all things.

Things we see and don’t see.

Things we feel and can’t feel.

She taught me how to close my eyes and still see and how to walk in the dark and still be led by the light.

My mom ? She is godlike.

She’s like the sun that never sleeps and taught me to stay awake for those who cannot rest.

To be kind and open.

To be patient and selfless

Those are all the things she taught me and I teach them as well.

xoxo
