Take a look around and tell me what you see
Is it just me? Or is the separation widening?
We have never been more divided
There has never been more lies given
More lives ruined
Its been brewing for a while now
All these idols we've been bowing down to
God did shut down the distractions
Club hopping the social interactions
Where our smiles were that's where the mask is
We been blasted with the video footage
Of a world that's really going through it
People are losing it all and possessions should be reconsidered
Because tangible items amount to little
The reward in riches require kingdom business
I stand as a witness
Giving testimony, always telling my story, but God gets the glory
So take a look around and tell me what you see?
Is it just me or is the truth even known?
We all doing our own thing
He said flesh to flesh bone to bone
But we just got a bone to pick with each other
Daughters fighting with Mothers
Fathers don't even bother breaking the curse that started with our forefathers
But how do we solve this?
Stop black on black crime?
Defund the police?
If we burn down some buildings and protest in the streets
We can change the laws and Supreme Court seats
Vote locally and hope to defeat the enemy
All that's great but we negate one thing
And the lack of His presence only brings much pain
Why sell your soul to the world for such little change?
So take a look around and tell me what you see?
It can't be just me that sees the mind control and mental slavery
Just took a little rearranging of the truth
So they can control the things we do
To cell phones are our hands glued
Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube
And now they know more about you than you do
Bamboozled and for whose benefit?
We just a money pit to be taken from
Then tossed aside when it's no longer fun
Reality and fantasy mixed with deceit
Not enough likes then the pic is deleted
Measuring love by the click of a button
Create a new life, go from nothing to something
Might feel alive but we spiritually dead
Might feel full but we really need bread
Not cheddar, not broccoli or c.r.e.a.m
Not flexin' on the gram with green Benjamins replacing peace
Viscous cycle with no relief
All these Indians not enough chiefs
Wonder why that viscous cycle repeats
So take a look around and tell me what you see
Those who inherit the earth will be humble and meek
They will seek the kingdom first
They will have the faith the size of a mustard seed at least
They will stand firm on who they believe in
It's a win win when in the end you become free from sin
God calls us all back to Him
But every slave didn't want to be free
So take a look around and tell me what you see?
