Missing You Forever
Villanelle Of Regret Challenge

I miss you more than you will ever know
Your death shook the town
I wasn't ready to let you go
*
Your murder left me with a new found low
Life left me sad without you around
I miss you more than you will ever know
**
I searched for justice, for I loved you so
I walked the streets without a sound
I wasn't ready to let you go
***
I hung fliers high and low
Every clue was carefully found
I miss you more than you will ever know
****
I walked the streets, fear I didn't show
I was determined to be victory bound
I wasn't ready to let you go
******
Justice finally had its foe
I was finally up instead of down
I miss you more than you will ever know
I wasn't ready to let you go

Susan, I am so terribly sorry for your loss. What incredible strength it must have taken to share this..a what a great job you did in telling it..
I am so sorry for your loss, Susan. Glad the justice was served but can’t even imagine how hard it is to cope with a loss of a loved one.
What a beautiful tribute to your lost son!
