Missed Signals
How can people not see? -All the signs... How can people not hear? He's crying for help...
Look
Can you see?
There's something burning in his eyes
Can you hear?
There's something turning in his voice
There's something, he's trying to keep together
To keep from falling apart
Through him, I can feel,
The bridges that no longer stand
Worlds that have fallen entirely apart
The weight, of his heart
The weight of waiting for something better to come together
Next to him, I see
Questions unanswered,
Is there a limit to what time can heal?
Is there a point where none of this is real?
Just look,
Can you see?
The weight of his face
The weightlessness of his breath
Can no one see?
He's in need
Quietness speaks
Silence, shouts
Can no one hear?
He's crying out
He's not hiding,
But this world isn't seeking
Many look,
But few see‐
