If you can't remember my name than it is a Shame! I am BAME

I am not Deepika, Divya, Dee, Di or Dah… I am Devika…. That's My Name.

I am not to be Distinguished by Colour of My Skin

You don't know yet where, where I have Been?

With Whom I have been Seen.

How I feel Inside…When You Only Judged me by my Outside

Please Keep Blank Space Next to your Bedside

Like Bible Books Reside

I am not White or Black.

I am that Soul which would be Back.

To remind what you lack.

I couldn't be Mellow

When even one ounce of Drop of Black, Brown or Yellow.

Is Considered Colour Fellow

I have considered Colour Changing

I have considered Hair Colour Changing

I have considered Style Changing

There is only so much I can Change.

Before I can say I cannot manage.

As the Humanity is going to be Challenged
