Misgiving Sentiments
Speechlessly Sober
I Won’t Make A Bed In Failure,
I Will Sleep Walk
Until I Find More…
I Was Migrating Through Life,
With No One To Kiss
Goodnight…
My Biggest Fantasy
Was To Meet,
Someone Who Would Love
Only Me…
So I Sat At The Bay
Of A Heartbreak…
I Thought I Had Found Love,
But He Sailed Away Rabidly…
Desolate With My Emotions
I Lay In A Sandbox,
Reminiscing On Confectionary Greetings,
And Bitter Goodbyes…

So bittersweet. Congrats on the TS!
So is love… a fleeting memory. Your compassion and heart are so fervently filled with emotion. Fine writing Lonzo!
Congratulations on your top story
I enjoyed this from the very first line
This poem gave off a sense for longing. Enjoyed this poem on love and heart break!
This reads like a really emotional piece. It makes me think about how many of us have been through heartbreak. I've had my share of relationships that didn't work out. It's tough to feel that sense of loss. How do you think one can move past these really painful experiences and find love again? It's also interesting how it describes the longing for someone special. I can relate to that feeling of wanting a true connection. What advice would you give to someone who's in that heartbreak phase, like the person in this text?
You open and close really strong. 👍congrats on top story.
Oh, I like this, Lonzo
This is great. I really loved those opening three lines. Awesome!
They say 'tis better to have loved & lost than never to have loved at all. Is it? Sometimes I wonder.
