One Kiss

One Wish

Alone I Sank In The Bay Of Love

With One Remedy…

Abandoned Optimism Lingers Around My Heart

And Still I Feel Blue…

Here I Sit

Longing For Forgiveness Attached With A Piece Of Bittersweet Love…

I Drank From The Faucet Of Truth

But Still I Drown In Lies…

Sometimes I Dance In The Sunlight With Lurid Vibrations.

While Being Taunted By My Own Shadow,

Maybe Darkness Could Be Considered Delight.

How Come When You Turn On The Light

It Is Easy To See A Million Possibilities

How Do You Climb The Ladder

When Depression Is Like Quicksand To Your Feet?

Even With My Abilities

I May See Yellow, But Deep Inside

I Still Feel Blue.

    🩷

  • These lines: "How Come When You Turn On The Light / It Is Easy To See A Million Possibilities / How Do You Climb The Ladder / When Depression Is Like Quicksand To Your Feet?" What an amazing juxtapostion of light/dark, hope/despair, and enlightened/bleak.

  • That last line is so incredibly accurate

  • I hear ya, Lonzo. I do, too.
