An inspirational poem about misery

I'm a miserable girl living in a world of unknowns.

a world of people telling me "you're ok" and "stop being sad, just be happy."

a world where I'm crying just about 85 percent of the time and sleeping the other 15 percent of the time.

a world where it feels safer to be a miserable girl than it is to turn on the morning news.

a world of uncertainty and wonders of if I'm strong enough to push through the pain and heartache.

I'm a miserable girl hoping for the best but feeling like I'm getting the worst thrown at me everyday.

They say, "you're just a girl" and you're starting to listen to their lies.

You may be a miserable girl but you're so much more than that.

You're the girl who continues to push through the pain and prove the haters in your life wrong.

You're the girl who is building the foundation for her future brick by brick all on your own.

You're the girl who cares deeply about others and strives to be the best person you can be no mater how miserable and sad you are deep down.

You may be a miserable girl but being a miserable girl doesn't define you.

You're more than your misery

You're you!
