So the words are coming to the brain
But not out on paper
Not where everyone can hear it
Not where everyone can read it
It comes one great line at a time
Then it stops flowing
Waiting for more words to come causes forgetfulness
Forgetfulness of the plot
Forgetfulness of the previous line
Forgetfulness of the rhyme
Forgetfulness of the feeling
A whole poem gone in seconds
Just a memory that can’t be retrieved
A thought that is incomplete
But who cares
No big deal
Only a few will read what is written
Even if they read only the mistakes will stand out
The message you create is ruined with misspellings
So why create something powerful
Why create a great line
Why create a long poem
Why lose brain cells over it
Because it's fun
Because it's love
Because it's a passion that can’t let go
So cheers to more
More great poems
And more unfinished ones
Wouldn't stop writing for nothing in this world

Well Emily - you are certainly stressing over writers block, but glad at the end of your poem, you decided to keep pressing on. Nicely written expressing your frustration. Well Done!!
The ending really stayed with me. That quiet declaration of love for writing, even when it’s messy or unfinished, felt powerful and true.
