Mirror, mirror, shattered there
—-

I smashed a mirror
Pieces flew every which way
Each reflecting a different me
Each with something different to say
Parallel partial realities
Separately reflecting choices
Some made, some not
Each with their own insistent voices
An eyeball over there
Choosing to roll wildly
An arm lopped at shoulder
Yet still stroking mildly….
Staring from prismatic portals
A hundred little mini me’s
Scrambling madly, shimmering
Like a refractive rainbow tease
Fumbling, I got the bottle of epoxy
Gathered my myriad selves
Stuck them back together
Propped them on a shelf
Now my mirror shows a truer image
One splintered , warped, cracked
Lips licking broken teeth
A soul which cohesiveness lacked
Never have I felt more together
More disparately cohesive
Than searching my image
In a mirror bonded with adhesive

Absolutely love this Andrew - love it to bits! I can see you here, "Parallel partial realities Separately reflecting choices Some made, some not Each with their own insistent voices" Kudos
