A poetic tribute to Dame Maggie Smith
Wisdom rains down and it reigns supreme.
Minerva. More importance and greater than it seems.
Her knowledge gleams. Might as well be the biggest light in the world.
Always ready for war. You fight for the world. You fight for the children.
Wisdom, knowledge and understanding. A guide of the children.
You were protection from what is not for us. You always did a lot for us.
You were our teacher. You gave us a lesson.
And when God gave us you he gave us a blessing.
A blessing of wisdom, knowledge, understanding and love.
And now Minerva has ascended to her home above.
