Mind Full Meanderings in Epiphany Minor; Unresolved Arrangement
for Vocal's Sensory Poetic Challenge

Inching up, unravelling slowly, assessing, processing, bruises unseen
Inner bells toll, loud as empty hallways, the echoes of hush
Sweat, old, stale like my unresolved acceptance, submerge in steamy salt
Bloody flesh, chafed mouth creased, a bitter sour sangria to swallow
Obtrusive glimpses, seep past weighted lids, mirroring shatters of me

Love the use of Frida Kahlo’s self portrait with this power packed sensory poem - they compliment each other perfectly. So well done.

That was visceral and fit the picture perfectly.. I especially like "Inner bells toll, loud as empty hallways." I can hear that so clearly. Really, really well done.
