This is a poem for Vocal's Love in 50 words Challenge and Mikeydred's Feburary prompt.

Love should never be left to go cold. - Michelle Liew

*****************************************

Milo wished his love would stay

And ensured she could never walk away

He grinned wide; she stood, all stunned

Eyes of glass, frozen front.

Milo learned, a love's hold

Should never be left to go cold

Now he waits, Love in place

With silent gaze, and frozen face.

Oof, that’s chilling—both in love and in fate! A dark, twisted take on holding on too tight. Love left too cold, and now they’re both frozen in time. Creepy, clever, and compact—perfect for the challenge!
