Milenials

a story

By Cherie SchmidtPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

They called us liars

cause they didn't believe we were

telling the truth,

So we learned to lie

Casue they taugt us

the truth didn't matter,

So what's the point

If they didn't believe us anyway?

They called us lazy,

Good-for-nothing,

Slackers,

It didn't matter how hard we tried,

They already made up their minds,

And there was

nothing we could do

to change it,

So we became the generation

that gave up,

That stopped caring

about people,

money,

ourselves,

The generation of retail workers,

servers & servants,

Only to be replaced

by robotic arms

& kiosks,

The slugs on the boots

of all rich hood

We are the ridiculed,

The insignificant,

The generation the world gave up on

before they ever gave us a chance

to start trying
