Memories

They are important.

By Darla M SeelyPublished 5 months ago 1 min read

I have memories of my childhood days:

Climbing trees, building snowmen, Christmas plays.

I think of birthday parties that I had;

Everything I did that made me feel glad.

I think of some of my favorite toys.

Our family reunions gave me some joys.

I played Monopoly, Hide and Seek too.

Christmas shopping was fun for me to do.

We loved our pets, animals on the farm.

On winter nights fires kept us all warm.

Our holidays were fun in special ways.

I helped plant gardens on lovely spring days.

I had great teachers, friends along the way.

I got good grades and studied hard each day.

I enjoyed my school days; every one.

I went to college dances; they were fun!

I think about my mission; people I taught.

My testimony grew; I learned a lot!

I think about songs that I loved to hear.

Many uplift me now and bring me cheer.
