Meditative Mind Poem: You Were Made to Dream
A poem for meditative mindfulness and self acceptance.
A cloud hung over her eye lids.
A gentle pressure of relief engulfs her body.
Peace floods beyond possibilities thought.
Atmosphere uncharted,
Exploration unending.
Imagination and dreams live in clouds of white.
Where dreams lay under flesh.
May the songs of youth live on in memory.
Memory of the uncharted,
And yet,
Known and seen before.
May paint drip from brushes,
And mind wander far.
Create all and nothing out of everything and nothing.
Dream may you,
In comfort and softly.
Accompanied with songs of lulling,
Or possibly passion,
Or ones that make hearts pound.
Dream of dreams,
Of wishes and hearts song.
Dance in the rains of change,
Embracing drenched to-do lists.
All whilst jumping in puddles of promise.
Fear will fail you,
For fear is failure embracing uncertainty.
Dance with internal devils,
Embracing the understanding of its core.
Pry open fisted hands full of pain,
Releasing into open winds.
Feel air caress your palms,
Enjoying each kiss.
Speak wishes into air around.
Allow wisps of effervescent beauty to engulf your deserving body.
You were made to live.
You were made to dream.
