Medicine of Change

A poem

Dancing in the chaos.

Welcoming the rain.

Sweetly scented new beginnings.

Awareness of a freedom I now choose.

Sultry sister Lilith joins in and takes my hand.

An unapologetic smirk and a gleam within her eyes.

This I witness as our fingertips- unclasp.

Laughing together...

Now ecstatic, allowing wild and being free.

Knowing envy demonstrates-

Lack of self- respect and integrity.

Finding bitter anger is a poison.

Still | it is the medicine of change.

No longer bound by small perceptions,

Whether they be yours or mine.

Standing in sovereignty is authenticity.

Creating the Divine.

Right or wrong has no more bearing in this life of mine.

For I know that each dark Angel must decide.

As no one ever escapes the fact-

That darkness always has and always will-

Proceed the new days light.

Now- setting the fire upon my funeral pyre.
