Thankful to the thief

A Poem

By Anita Dillon Published 5 years ago 1 min read

Disheveled now.

Underneath the Tuba tree last night .

Awakening smitten with love and gratitude.

Finding the thief of my heart-

Brazenly took it home.

Such sweet surrender.

Releasing the war within.

Having tousled upon viridescent dew-

cast with a violet ray.

Losing myself right,

Love changes reality.

Let go of control.

Spring forward lightly.

Letting more in.

Following a path led by spirit guides,

dwelling amidst the stars.

Realization of a luminous destiny.

Intoxicating beauty with an ethereal element.

Softly brushing by.

Embracing the beloved

underneath that tree .

Releasing what does not serve.

What was lost?

Nothing-

Laughing now I see...
