Maybe Tomorrow I’ll Disappear
A challenge poem

Perhaps tomorrow I’ll disappear
Delete my socials, battery dead
Go somewhere that the skies are clear
And I can clear my head
Touch grass, go for a walk
No angry strangers or head-splitting sound
I may not even need to talk
Just sit and watch the world go round
Peace and calm, sun and shade
Time to remember who I am and can be
No need to Mask, let it fade
Then perhaps I’ll return, myself and free

The idea of going off grid has always been tempting and feels so blissful. Loved your poem!
