Maybe
We hope for maybe, knowing we'll never see

part of the redeemed series
Maybe in a different time
Maybe in a different place
Maybe in somewhere else
In the vastness of space
Something could have happened
Something could have been
Life has lost it's luster
Sights have lost their color
Food has lost its flavor
Without you but I must press on
Daily I hear your song
Daily I climb that mountain
Only to fall back down
The other side
Back at the start I am found
Hurting my heart it pounds
Echoing in my head it sounds
Mingling with the same voices
Over and over the same choices
That sometime, someday, maybe

I've always found a bit peace and release in putting word to written medium. I'm by no means an accomplished wordsmith but I find enjoyment in it. My love for writing started from world building that being a dungeon master provided.
