May Flowers Bring In The Summer
The days and night find peace at last

May Flowers Bring In The Summer
May flowers blooming nicely,
Sunnier time is here—
The time for garden parties
With those you hold most dear.
A trip to the sea, a walk on the sand,
A paddle where waves run free—
All winter long, we dreamed of this,
And now it’s come to be.
Summer nights and romantic skies,
Lovers making plans,
For holidays in distant heat,
In lands of sea and sand.
Young mums stroll through quiet parks,
Their babies held with pride,
While birds sing in the morning light,
And daylight won’t long hide.
We waited through the darkest months,
Now joy has come at last—
The sun is here, the skies are clear,
And winter’s grip has passed.
