O martyrs of love…

I call you to be witnesses…

The passion of my lover has flowed into my blood

Do I have the right to ask you?

As if I were a student in the sanctuary of passion

Whoever answers me will be my teacher

Who among you has not had a tremor from touching

the palm of your lover's hand?

How can you escape from the arrow of her eyes?

When she looks at you and smiles

If her shadow visits you in the evening, would you be able to close your eyes and sleep?

Who among you has not drowned in the sea of love?

No matter how a skilled diver you are

Who would love his lover’s Areej's perfume?

Would not you thank God for the blessing of her smell?

Who among you would not love to hear the tone of his lover’s voice?

The sound of the guitar fades whenever you hear her voice

You will feel as if you are deaf to the guitar’s tones

Who among you wouldn't quit talking after talking to his lover?

Would not you hate to listen to words other than hers?

Wouldn't you intend to fast afterward?

Whoever among you could not answer what I asked, deserves all my blame

What I say to my lover…

Oh, my queen…

You stand tall in your palace

The stars are sitting under your throne

You slyly asked me about my birthday

So here I am, after I loved you..

I was just born today….
