The Dreamer

Love Poem

I don't know how I loved him...

I don't know how I got carried away into his pathway...

All I know is that at some point…

I found a beautiful feeling born inside me..

God threw it into my heart like a rushing waterfall..

It paralyzed my senses and weakened my defenses before him…

My feelings drifted with the flow...

And found myself without a word or decision...

But reality had a different opinion...

All circumstances were against us...

The bridge between us was cut off...

Even thinking about getting along was forbidden…

I couldn't find a way to meet him...

Until I met him in an imaginary world…

A free world where no law, no logic governs it...

I close my eyes and imagine myself with him...

With him only and no one else…

I imagined we were two peaceful birds..

Who took trees as our home…

Flew high in the sky...

Went far away..

From the haters and the envious...

Then we met together…

In a warm meeting...

As the sun meets the sea...

A pleasant meeting...

As the breeze meets the trees...

A fragrant meeting...

As roses meet bees...

When we met...

I gifted him the sea with its waves...

The trees with their branches…

And all kinds of flowers...

I promised to stay with him forever...

However, one of the tribulations of fate...

My eyes will not remain closed forever...

I will definitely wake up from my dreams..

I will have to accept the bitter reality...

My wishes will evaporate and scatter in the maze of time..

My dreams will die before they become true...

My soul is now torn apart by the blade of pain..

My tears flow to escape the tyranny of sadness...

Because I had fallen in love with an illusion...

I feel like a fugitive without shelter or housing...

I resort to crying between the lines...

My crying is embodied in sad words...

Not because I am miserable...

Rather, because I am a dreamer who tried to escape reality...
