Manic Depression

The Complexities of Mental Illness

By NitsuaPublished 4 months ago 1 min read
Night life, in the Balance of Light and Dark

Low and Behold in surely scattered spaces

Mind, Heart and Body left with imprints it erases

Time passing by illuminated with enchantment

Glee, joy and peace fleeting quickly with advancement

What a sadness this?! A beautiful depression

One that terrorizes, screams err happiness is mentioned

Dark rooms, hallways and corridors filled with delight

In parallel, in comfort, joyous loneliness in sight

Melting candles grace our dove with senses

Metered, balanced, seldom misrepresented

The wind blows fierce in the tundra of emotions

Our subject steadied, with no sign of commotion

At last, celebration! A win with no fear of losing

Commenced in solitude, with no friends for their choosing

Sonnet
