Mama Clause

An ode to Christmas mothers

Every year on Christmas I was blessed to say I got it all.

Sorry Saint Nick, the real gift giver was Mama Clause.

Mama Clause had no reindeer. Just snow boots and a sweater.

Her love was the key ingredient that made the holidays better.

Mama Clause really made Santa look like a rookie.

To bring us gifts we didn’t even have to bribe her with Christmas cookies.

Mama Clause definitely made Christmas pleasant.

We always smiled when she put the tree up over the Christmas presents.

She was always down for the holiday season cause.

There will never be another gift giver like Mama Cluase.

Just snow boots and a sweater. I hope everyone remembers Mama Clause that way. Nicely done - Joe
