I love nature — it’s my happy place.
I go to it to diminish my stress.
I don’t run to it, to have fun;
I go to learn about flora, fauna,
and their mutual interactions.
That’s one purpose of my life.
Above, you see a enormous tree.
If I didn’t know it's identity,
it’s just random tree.
But I can’t live with such disregard
for life-sustaining entities.
So I know that’s a mahua tree —
an important tree,
in my native land India.
It offers cattle feed, and oil,
shade and wood too.
If you look closely, orchids hang
from its dark trunk,
so many wildlife depends on it.
A tree is not just a tree —
it’s a sessile, living angel.
And I believe we must,
show our honor to them,
if not, it’s a shame.
Note: I believe trees are the Gods we should respect.

Trees are very important to our living lives. They give us oxygen while taking in nitrogen as we learned in elementary school. They are the sentinels to a healthy life. Good work.
