Contemplating Life Journey
We have to find joy amidst the obstacles

Life’s journey is short,
How nice it would be
if we could spend it,
with a happy heart—
admiring nature,
soaking in family love,
doing art.
But that’s not going to happen,
always some obstacles,
ready to make feel miserable.
I’m feeling under the weather—
cold wind triggers mild headache,
and nostrils feel congested.
Rest and solitude would help,
but two noisy kids in the house
always sparring like cat and mouse,
creating endless ruckus.
My head pounds more,
and stress levels soar.
Then there’s the reflected heat—
man-made structures act as mirrors,
The shafts can cut through skin
and aggravate a headache.
I try to write and earn ethically,
but with just a few cents,
for each laboriously-written article,
I move slower than a turtle or a snail.
How can you feel secure?
How can you enjoy the journey?
It’s very sad.
But then I know,
we are in this world
to not have all joy and fun.
It’s always going to be,
a mixed bag of emotions.

Hope you feel better soon even with what is going on around you now. One must work through all sorts of maladies now-a-days to survive day to day in many ways, Good job.
I hope you feel better soon! It's almost impossible to rest with children around.
