I have become capable of wizard’s math:

I can count

on my fingers and toes

who loves me

as I am...

and that

my friends

is pure magic

    Sometimes, it's better to have a small circle of friends. There's just so many backstabbers and fake people out there.

    Few things are harder to learn than who we can trust. Once we have cast our pearls the swine are easy to identify. This is a lovely and hopeful poem!
