Spiraling - Crazy Comeback

The magic we shared

Set the night sky, ablaze

A romance, impaired

With moments, that amazed

Wrong turns, bad decisions

And the time of our lives

We were crazy in love

Clinging to crazy lies

Both wanting something

We’d long been denied

Fuck, the song lyrics sting

When it comes down to goodbye

Disappeared for awhile

Got stuck, in my head

I traveled for miles

Never leaving my bed

I'm sure there were days

some thought I was dead

Still, nobody came

not worth - checking in

I've shut all those doors

Burned a few bridges too

I couldn't take anymore

"Well, what could I Do?!"

So, alone, on my own,

I have come a long way

Not as far as I'd hoped

Maybe, I just couldn't say

I'll try something new

I have not done before

Live like there's nothing to prove

Spiraling, but - into control

surreal poetry

Emma has already said exactly what I thought--that last line is priceless. In the beginning, I kept flashing toward Bonnie & Clyde. Then I sensed some autobiography in there. I hope that last line is where you find yourself today, Kelli.

  • Whoaaa, spiralling but into control! Upward instead of downward! This was awesomeeee!

A lot of great lines in this one. Bittersweet, with a feeling of satisfaction at the end.

This is masterful. And ive totally been here. Those periods of aloneness can be really wild but i think we come out stronger. Great work ✨👏🏼👏🏼
