Magic

And A Fist Full Of Glitter

the promise of magic

as glitter floats in the air

makes non believers, manic

and lovers, swap stares

it's the perceived, grand illusion

that steals the show

it mimics confusion

and offers the glow

tempting the inner child

to dare make a wish

undaunted and wild

a notion hard to resist

persuading lovers to fall

a victim to her kiss

music and hearts swell

as the love fills the air

captured under a spell

and blinded by the glare

with a fist full of glitter

and ancient words of recall

don't even try to resist her

because you're bound to fall

She'll put a spell on you every time... This reminds me of a song on a soundtrack. Can't put my finger on it but well done, Kelli. The rhymes were perfect!

I guess this describes the many ups and downs of falling in love and being in love. Good job.
