Loving Verses of you
I hold my breath beneath your gaze,
As shadows stretch through endless haze.
Your love, a weight I cannot flee,
Sinks deep into the heart of me.
Each word you speak, a fleeting flame,
That scorches yet, I call your name.
In every kiss, I find the cost,
A tenderness that leaves me lost.
Beneath your touch, I lose control,
A captive heart, a broken soul.
But still, I ache for more of you,
A wound that whispers, “I’m not through.”
In loving verses, I surrender,
To all your darkness, sweet, and tender.
I hold my breath beneath the tide,
A love so fierce, it won’t subside.
That’s why I wrote love verses of you ❤️

Delightful
Good job and if I read it right it seems this poem could bring on some level of guilt on the man.
