Lover’s Lament

The dawn will bring the sun to rise again

To chase away the dark clouds over head

The storm will pass and both our hearts will mend

Our happiness alive and grief be dead

When things go bad why can’t we talk it out?

Why must be always seek to place the blame?

We get no where when all we do is shout

Relationships are not a child’s game

Why can’t we see each other’s point of view?

Is stubbornness a trait that we both share?

To save our love it takes both me and you

Let’s stop this game and show we really care

Let’s pledge our love and promise to both try

Or end it all and simply say goodbye
