Love Your Art

Art is what you make others see, what you make them here.

By Clyde SwobPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

Light colors and dark pigments on the eyes, nose, and knees,

Breathing light and smiling deep.

Quacking hands and a taunting mind,

Keep me from seeing what others classify as beautiful.

I tear and sneer at all of the Rachid pages of my so-called art

Letting myself fall apart,

I love to hate to want to love my creations,

Because I'm too caught up in others' fixations.

Crying tears because I'm not "normal"

Keeping a faint smile because I'm abnormal,

Never knowing best about my own heart,

I always try to create the best of art,

'Cause it's always what you show,

And never what you see,

But I know now that it isn't me.

So I start to walk away from all of my thoughts,

And try to create my own cause.

What makes art is the story you tell,

So I want my pieces to yell.

Yell out tears,

Yell out pain,

Yell outcries,

Yell out rain.

Yell out smiles,

Yell out warmth,

Yell out love,

And yell out cake,

Yell rainbows,

And yell out opaque.

My art is great.

I will love it,

No matter what it takes.
