Love,
A bond strong,
Heart's song,
Pure, true,
You.
Feel,
Deep, real,
Hold, kiss,
Bliss.
Time,
Yours, mine,
Stay, play,
Pray.
Eyes,
Meet, greet,
Spark, art,
Start.
Hope,
Warm, cope,
Trust, care,
Share.
Dream,
Magic gleam,
Wish, find,
Kind.
Forever,
Us, two,
Love, true,
You.
In this short verse,
Love's language terse,
With few letters or less,
Our affection, I profess.
For love knows no length,
It transcends word's strength,
In simplicity, it's expressed,
In hearts, it's forever blessed.

Off the Book
It ended like every other stupid idea. Badly, and alone. I’m researching digital confession ethics, he said. A tech ethicist. He gestured at floating data I couldn’t see then pulled out a physical notebook. Actual paper, fountain pen. He held it up like he was showing me scripture.
