The Rides Enrapture You

Waterfalls chase the ground,

Like how I follow you around.

Gravity pulls me closer to you,

Just as my nose does to food.

Love has seen my heart found.

So, stick to me like sticky glue,

I never want to part with you.

Hold me close to hear the sound,

Of the way our hearts both pound.

Let us not whisper a final adieu.

Rather, keep me on a merry-go-round,

Crack jokes and puns like you’re a clown.

I promise to laugh along with you,

And even attempt a joke or two.

Take a stroll with me through love’s fairground.

I find that words are powerful; regardless of their form, they carry influence over our lives, and we must wield their power with both wisdom and heart.
