Love's Apology
In the quiet chambers of my heart's domain,
I offer a confession, my words a gentle rain.
With sincerity that knows no end or limit,
I whisper a sorry, my love, please permit.
For in the tapestry of our love so true,
A thread of regret has woven its hue.
I stumbled, I erred, I caused you pain,
But my affection for you shall forever remain.
With eyes cast down, I bear my soul,
Seeking forgiveness to make me whole.
My heart is heavy, burdened by remorse,
As I navigate the tides of love's complex course.
I cherish the moments, both bright and gray,
The laughter, the tears, each word we'd say.
Yet I faltered, and for that, I repent,
Hoping our love isn't forever rent.
My apology is woven with threads of love,
A recognition of the blessings from above.
Though my actions marred what we hold dear,
Know that my love for you is always clear.
In this plea for forgiveness, a promise anew,
To mend what's broken, to cherish and be true.
For "I love you" and "I'm sorry" entwine,
In the story of love, a narrative divine.
So let my apology reach where it's due,
In the embrace of your heart so true.
May forgiveness's light guide us through,
As we weave our love's tapestry anew.
