Love Poem to a Bipolar Self
Meditation in Red on the Eve of Mutually Assured Destruction

I am fixed to this spot, magnifying glass in hand. I have taken inventory of myself and now point the lens to the center of my chest, a slight angle toward the sun. I hold it long enough; a small dot forms, an irritation growing. It feels particular and significant until my eyes relax and the dot bleeds into the reds of my skin.
self-induced

an ignition of colors. a body burning. a lost pin and sodium bicarbonate bath.

Oh kp this sunk into the skin and mind. Beautiful, horrifying and so much said in so few words 💜
Very well written!
So deeply tragic, and beautifully evoked- such brilliance is what I've come to expect from kp! Such feeling work here :)
Damn oh damn, tho not bipolar, I loved, hated and adored this! so bloody powerful and relatable!
The calm and steady contemplation of obliteration is both soothing and horrifying.
