Love Nesh

The Intoxicating Curse of a Heart Possessed

By M Kamrul Islam Published 8 months ago 1 min read

In twilight’s hush, I sip your name,

A burning pulse I cannot tame.

Like sweetest wine upon my tongue,

Your memory sings, forever young.

A fevered rush beneath my skin,

This love—a sin I drown within.

No cure can dull your haunting trace,

You linger soft in time and space.

My veins are fire, your breath the spark,

You light the dark, then leave it stark.

Each heartbeat aches, a whispered theft,

No touch remains, but craving’s left.

I chase the smoke, I breathe you in,

Addicted deep beneath my skin.

A ghost, a flame, a sacred crime,

You bend my soul and break my time.

So here I burn, no shame, no rest—

A willing slave, love's sweet arrest.

No chain more cruel, no high more true,

Than being drunk and lost in you.
