LOVE LETTER

He had beautiful hazel eyes that he tried to hide with a beanie.

And this is the first time that he’d see me.

We didn’t speak at first, just hung around the same crowd,

but the way he held himself seemed to be proud.

And I remembered the butterflies I felt every time I saw him smile.

I’m sure he was perfection,

maybe a little correction,

but when we started a conversation,

our stories were reflections

and it was an instant connection.

I love this man with all my heart,

I was a puzzle missing a piece and he fit the part.

But like any relationship,

it came with ups and downs,

we fight and argue,

but somehow managed to see this through.

We still do.

And I hope will always continue too.

Six years, and three kids, wow time flies!

I’m an open book to you now,

wearing no disguise,

you see my flaws and seen me cry..

I have nothing to hide.

So let’s be wise,

don’t listen to the fakers,

and we will continue to rise!

We started off with nothing,

basically bumming,

you know, young and dumb things XD

But look at us now and how far we’ve come. A FAMILY. LOVE. and a place to call HOME!

And I’m not talking about a house,

I’m talking about you.

Because your the only place I find comfort and it’s true.
