Love Languages
Understanding and Expressing Love in a Way That Resonates with Your Partner
Love is a language, and it comes in many forms
It can be expressed through touch, through gifts, or in words
But how do we know which language our partner speaks?
And how can we learn to express our love in a way that seeks?
There are five love languages, so they say
And each of us has our own unique way
Of giving and receiving love, and feeling its power
And when we understand this, our love can truly flower
Some speak the language of words of affirmation
They need to hear they're loved, and praised without hesitation
Others speak through acts of service, and deeds done with care
They need to feel they're valued, and that their needs are a shared affair
Some speak the language of quality time
They need undivided attention, and moments that truly shine
Others speak through physical touch, and the power it brings
They need hugs, and kisses, and other loving things
And some speak through gifts, and what they represent
They need tangible reminders, of the love that's meant
To be given and received, in a way that's true
And when we understand this, our love can truly renew
So let's take the time to learn our partner's love language
To understand what they need, and what they truly cherish
And let's express our love in a way that truly resonates
So that our love can grow, and truly captivate
For love is a language, and it speaks to us all
In many different ways, both big and small
And when we learn to speak it, in a way that's true
Our relationships can blossom, and our love can truly renew.
