Love can be painful especially when it's good, and it's not the kind of painful that destroys and prevents you from leaving when you should.
It's the kind of painful that carried you when you didn't think you could.
The kind of painful that stretches the soul when you've given more than the other person would.
The kind of painful that stirs up memories of how far you've come.
It's the kind of painful that has high hopes for the ones you love, and knowing that these hopes could be left undone.
In this kind of painful we release good tears.
We release thankfulness for what's happened over the years.
There is a sorrow for what can be no more, but an acceptance that joy comes in the mourn.
In this we have an Impenetrable Hope as we wait for the many more memories made out of Love to be born.

I pray my writings would illuminate the in-between spaces of life and bring peace in the transition of what Is, what Has Been, and what Is To Come. ☼
