Love Is Overrated

I Don't Need A Warm Embrace

By Garry VenturaPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Love is overrated

I don't need a warm embrace

Or to see a smiling face

Love is overrated

I don't want you by my side

Better go run and hide

Love is overrated

I hear you knocking at my door

Sex on the bedroom floor

Love is overrated

Now I watch you walk away

There is no reason to stay

Love is overrated

I started to miss you today

You never should have left this way

Love is overrated

You put a smile on my face

I will always remember this place

Love is overrated

I know what I have said

Now I just need it to be read (to me)
